Using the color wheel

To use the color wheel, display the Color Chooser window. If necessary, choose View > Color Wheel to display the color wheel:

1. Choose the color by clicking on the color wheel. Alternatively, drag the pointer around the color wheel until you see the color you want in the color well at the top right.

2. Adjust the shade by dragging the brightness slider up or down to lighten or darken the color you have chosen.

Use the left of the two sliders; the right slider sets a shade of gray (see Using the grayscale model).

3. If necessary, set the opacity using the opacity slider (see Using sliders).
